Most uptime tools are built for big companies, priced like it, and send alerts to an inbox nobody reads. Statusbeat is for everyone else: indie developers, small teams, and people who run Discord bots.

It does a few things well. It checks your site and confirms every outage from a second location, so you only get pinged when something is really down. It sends that alert where you already are, whether that's Discord, Slack, or your own tools. It keeps a status page up to date for you. And it can tell when a Discord bot has frozen, which most tools can't.

How we run it
