Getting started

Monitor a website, API, or Discord bot and get pinged the moment it goes down. Setup takes about five minutes.

  1. Sign in with Discord or GitHub.
  2. Create a project. Use one project per thing you run, like a bot or a website.
  3. Add what you want to watch: a website by its address, or a Discord bot in any language.
  4. Under Destinations, choose where alerts go: Add to Discord for our bot, or Add a webhook for Slack, a Discord webhook, or your own tools. You don't need Discord at all.
  5. Optionally, publish a status page your users can check.

What happens when something breaks

If your site stops loading, we check again from a second location to make sure it really is down. Then we mark it down, send your alerts, update your status page, and open an incident. Everyone on the project also sees it in their dashboard notifications. When it comes back, everything goes back to normal by itself.

For bots, your bot checks in with us regularly. If it stops checking in, we mark it down. If only some of its shards drop for more than 2 minutes, it's marked as a partial outage and you're alerted about those shards.

What's included

Every account gets 20 websites, 10 Discord bots, and 5 status pages, free. Websites can be checked every 5 minutes, or every minute once you prove the site is yours.
